Hurlston Hall, Ormskirk
So wedding season 2018 is well and truly here!
The wedding of Ann-Marie and John was a beautiful one! A few weeks before the wedding I had a sit down with the happy couple to discuss the wedding day and if they are looking for any certain types of photos.
Ann Marie had one particular photo in mind.... which involved a sparkler and a spiral. To see this how this picture turned out, scroll to the bottom.
The day started out at Ann-Marie's parents house. I arrived to the smell of bacon butties and prosecco! A cracking mix!
It was a relaxed morning, all the girls getting their hair and make up done, whilst chatting and laughing. I could already see it was going to be a fun day!
I shot the details - dress, shoes flowers and more. Generally documenting the morning as the girls got ready. Capturing the moments guests arrived to pass on their best wishes, to a the moment a huge bunch of flowers arrived from the Groom.
Dresses were on, make up applied, perfume sprayed, selfies taken, bridal portraits shot. It was time to head to the Church. Ann Marie arrived in a beautiful old Bentley. While John had been given the surprise of arriving in a Tesla Model X.
St Wilfreds Church in Standish was the venue for the ceremony, and what a beautiful church it is. Imet John and his best men, all seemed a little nervous but raring to get the show on the road.
As the flower girl, the bridesmaids and Ann-Marie walked down the aisle, they all lookied stunning. The light streamed through the church windows offering for amazing light for photos.
The ceremony went without a hitch, a few photos outside the church then on to Hurlston Hall. The new Husband and Wife arrived in the Bentley followed closely by the Tesla. Once at Hurlston Hall and everyone had a drink in their hands, the Tesla Model X showed off its party piece... A dance to music... gulping doors opened and flared, wing mirrors opened and closed and the lights danced in time to the music.....
The day flew by, there were photos by the lake, a drone photo to catch the entire group in the shape of a heart. It was great fun.
Then the evening came! I do love to jump on the dance floor to try and capture those moments of drunken fun and merriment. And these guys did not disappoint.
The photos below give a small insight to the fun had by everyone that day!
